Special Items
There are three special items whose unique characteristics make them deserving of their own section. We are referring here to the scythe, camouflage, and armor.
They have in common that they are the items that represent the most carrying units and are the best offensive and defensive items.
Scythe
Subtracts 99 energy points from another tribute in the space when used. The trade-off is that it increases the energy cost of boosting actions by 2.
It can only be obtained by picking it up when an executioner dies.
If you choose to carry a scythe despite its energy and carrying penalty, there is only one thing you should do: kill! Carrying a scythe is a sign that you want to seize victory as soon as possible. If they know you have it, your enemies will either flee from you or try to kill you as quickly as possible.
Camouflage
When a tribute equips this, they become invisible to enemies and the mountain while picking up, throwing, resting, taking cover, synthesizing, using medicine, activating grenades, mines, or bombs, and attacking. If adrenaline is used, only the last action is considered.
This outfit is absolutely necessary if you want to be able to perform all these actions continuously without being bothered. But it's important to keep in mind that even though your rivals can't see you, you are still audible and vulnerable to attack.
Armor
When a tribute equips this, all hits reduce their hit points by 4, and they can no longer be pushed without permission.
Under normal conditions of maximum energy and defensive capacity, the armor means that the only way to kill you in a single hit is with a full-power sword strike or the scythe. This makes it advantageous for all tributes to have armor equipped towards the end of the game. In the first few turns you might not worry too much about getting one, but after the first 15 it should be a priority.
