Questions to the Capitol
With sponsorship points, you can also ask Yes/No questions about another tribute or the situation on the island of your choice. These will be answered as soon as possible. The possible questions, with their price in parentheses, are:
- Are they on Team X? (10)
- Do they have more than X energy points? (10)
- Do they have more than X units of item Y? (10)
- Do they have more than X sponsorship points? (10)
- Do they have more than X replicas? (10)
- Do they have advantage X? (15)
- Are they going to perform action X this turn? (20)
- Are they in position X? (20)
- Are there more than X tributes with 1 energy point? (20)
- Are there more than X tributes in position Y? (25)
- Are there more than X mines in position Y? (30)
- Are there more than X bombs in position Y? (40)
There are four things to note about this.
First, asking about another tribute's equipment is almost the only way to be sure they're with you. Don't forget to use questions to be sure, as you can usually be tricked.
Second, if a tribute changes their action during their turn, their original action is always stated when asking.
Third, if you ask about a tribute with rebuttals, the answer will be given using the information from the main body of the question.
Fourth, choosing the right questions is almost as important as choosing the ones you make up to leave false leads or bluff. It will be very common for other tributes to write to you saying they asked this or that. Always be cautious about this and avoid sharing relevant information if you're not sure you're talking to allies.
