Audience Credits
How to earn credits and what they're used for.
Audience Credits
The audience is watching, and they reward entertainment. Audience Credits are the currency you spend on Host Services, Deliveries, and Questions.
Credits can be pooled between players for a single request. If multiple players request the same service, they're all charged, even if the total exceeds the price.
Earning credits
Journal entries (variable)
Write an entry in the public journal thread. It must be written text (not just images or video) and recount at least one event from the island, true or false. Credits are awarded at the end of the turn you post.
Only one entry per cycle. The cycles and their payouts:
| Turns | Credits |
|---|---|
| 1 | 1 |
| 2–3 | 2 |
| 4–6 | 3 |
| 7–10 | 4 |
| 11–15 | 5 |
| 16–21 | 6 |
| 22–28 | 7 |
| 29–36 | 8 |
| 37–45 | 9 |
Take advantage of this. Your enemies will.
Sex (2 credits)
Each participating player earns credits. A good incentive for teams to coordinate recovery.
Hit or Steal (1 credit per hit/steal)
Every hit you land earns 1 credit, even against teammates. Three enhanced punches in a turn = 3 credits. Boomerangs earn 1 credit per tile where they hit someone. Explosives and pushing into Collapsing Tiles don't count.
Block a hit (3 credits)
Taking Cover successfully earns credits. The audience likes seeing you take a hit and stay standing.
Activate explosive (4 credits)
Arming a Grenade, Mine, or Bomb earns credits regardless of whether it hits anyone.
Kill (5 credits)
Eliminating a player earns credits, even if they're on your team. Explosives and pushing into Collapsing Tiles don't count.
Enhance actions (1 credit per 2 energy spent)
Every 2 energy you spend on enhancements earns 1 credit. Only paid enhancements count (free reductions from advantages don't).
